I think boxing has moved on a bit too quick on this. It certainly warrants further discussion. Personally, I'm more inclined to think it was a matter of Scott being scared shitless, than thinking it was a dive. Then again, nothing would surprise me in boxing anymore.

This was supposed to be a MAJOR step up for Wilder. We were ALL looking forward to it... to see whether the Wilder hype was deserved, or artificial. Then we get THIS crap. Unreal. And now that it's over, boxing seems to have moved on to the next chapter. Well, wait a minute. What actually happened in that fight??

Also, I looked high and low for articles on Jennings, Mansour, or Chambers being quoted as saying Scott took a dive... but couldn't find any. Did they really say that?? I would be flabbergasted to know that fellow pro boxers are accusing one of their own of taking a dive. But again... nothing fazes me in boxing nowadays.

If they DID say that.... amazing. If they didn't.... then it seems Wilder is getting all kinds of defensive about the fight, because he knows the boxing public was left VERY unsatisfied. Whatever the case may be.... I can't wait until the next Wilder fight. Maybe THEN we'll get some answers.
