I will now post memphis's reasoning for his score
Round 1
Oakley misses with wild swing claiming that Calzaghe has defended his MIDDLEWEIGHT title 17 times, Britkid misses with a left hook counter mentioning Lacy in the same breath as Leonard, Hearns, Whitaker and de la Hoya. Oakley gets the better of a furious exchange as Eubank Reid Veit and Woodhall outweigh two Thomas's a Jones and a Grant. Out of no where Britkid unleashes a left hook lead as he brings Robin Reid and Scott Pembertons name to the table, Oakley counters with a Peter Manfredo right cross.
Oakley busy in the middle third of the round and a cute counter to finish
10 - 9 Oakley
Round 2
Britkid starts round 2 with some masterfull defensive work, ducking and weaving under Thornberries and Staries, frustrated Oakley lands a low blow claiming credit for Calzaghe calling out elite fighters, Britkid responds with a lead right hand and taunts Oakley with Richie Woodhall claiming that Calzaghe's best was 6 years ago. Britkid follows up his success with stinging punches as he questions Calzaghe's punch resistance, Oakley misses his counter opportunity, Calzaghe shouldnt have had to get off the deck in the first place. Britkid leads with a lazy jab namely Mario Veit which Oakley easily counters, Veit was hot and Calzaghe looked great.
Despite a tidy finish from Oakley Britkid was the boss
10 - 9 Britkid
(19 - 19)
Round 3
Oakley opens with a barrage of punches but misses every one claiming that Calzaghe has had a flawless career and needs to prove nothing, the crowd roar with laughter as Oakley misses wildly defending Calzaghe's advancing years with George Foreman and Lennox Lewis. Britkid feints and appearst to be setting a trap but ultimately no meaningfull blows are exchanged. The remainder of the round ses a lot of posturing from both men as they trade casual putdowns of the others charge.
Not much action in this round
10 - 10
(29 - 29)
Round 4
Round four is fairly even, both men feel they have fought a good fight and are now putting the finishing touches to a comfortable victory, if one man had have stepped on the gas I would have had a clear cut winner but as it stands I cannot seperate them in the final round.
10 - 10
(39 - 39)
