Cunningham is a good cruiser weight fighter , lose 6 pounds and he could give it a go at CW.

I agree but he is at the end of his career and wants to make some big money.

True, but he could be champ at CW , even he knows he cant punch with the biggest of HW'S also he showed in the fury fight he has little power and gets mauled , and tires as he is only 206lbs.He doesn't stop people at HW he hasn't got the power.
At CW he would be a force.

I think he makes more money losing at heavyweight than he does as champion at Cruiserweight. At the lower weight he had to travel at heavyweight he can stay at home.

Pretty much nailed on buddy , however it isn't good for his health getting knocked down at HW.

He has better resiliance at heavy than he did at cruiser. Adamek couldnt knock him down at heavy but could hurt Arreola.

I think Cunningham would make a good first defence for the WBC title and he would have a genuine chance of winning it too!

Mansour is back at the middle pack of the contenders in America. He has to fight BIG now- BIG as in another HW top flight guy. No other way this can turn up for him within the next year or so if he wants a title shot.

Can Mansour honestly be deemed a legit test when he just came up short and one dimensional in his own. He should fight a guy like Gerald washington but hes not in the top contender mix now. He's as wild as the iceman thawed swinging clubs but Wilder would have deeper issues with some experience and actual boxing ability though it would be fun to see how he reacts when a guy steps forward in the ring, any fighter for that matter.

Probably not far but he is in exciting fights on mainstream TV and getting a lot of attention. What is there not to love about him.

I've finally got round to watching this fight in full and I really enjoyed it. I think its a great clash of styles between someone who can fight, Mansour, and someone who can box, Cunningham. Both guys showed lots of heart but I thought the deciding factor was Mansour being wasteful with his shots and tiring himself out with missed power punches. I half expected the fight to be waved off after the second knock down on Cunningham, you could see even when he came out for the 6th he was still shaken.

Smoger knew about Cunningham's sick daughter and he knew more was at stake for this man so it was a sympathy call... he knew cunningham needs to earn money in this sport so he did him a favor..

You can say that Amir Mansour was robbed jn a sense..

What if the ref from the stevens-johnson had called the fight? Uss would have been counted out.
