Haugen vs Chris Calvin. Calvin was a very very hard hitter- he had killed a man- and I think Haugen was expected to lose. Pretty good fight, as I remember it.

Good chin and pretty nice left hand by Haugen. Interesting to note that, in the fight before this one, Haugen beat Freddie Roach.

I always liked Haugen. He had all the fundamentals down well and was extremely tough.

He's also highly critical of other fighters as on Facebook I've seen him criticizing Brian Vera on his last match with Chavez.

He once said of his style: "Its hard to counter a 3 minute combination."


His stamina was off the charts. A whirlwind.


Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well against Jesse James Leija tho.

Leija's uppercut was sick there. Dorsey was prone to cut from just a rainstorm but he was literally wearing a crimson mask when it ended.
