The young lion was Simon Brown , the older fighter was Marlon Starling , he wasn't washed up but Marlon schooled the undefeated Brown.

Nope I ment the USBA title fight ,Simon Brown was undefeated 21 - 0 , Starling had already lost 3 times twice to Don Curry he was brought in as a name opponent , and won the fight on points.I am sure you mean Breland
But yes Breland was also beaten by Marlon.

Never knew that and I was a fan of Simon Brown, always thought he was undefeated until McGirt beat him.Nope I ment the USBA title fight ,Simon Brown was undefeated 21 - 0 , Starling had already lost 3 times twice to Don Curry he was brought in as a name opponent , and won the fight on points.I am sure you mean Breland
