What alot of people fail to realize is that Manny will throw so many punches that floyd wont have time to punch back. None of that pot shotting. Floyd will have to fight! Manny is not gonna stand there memorized by floyds defense like the fighters he has fought the last few years.

If Bradley can nullify Pac for half a fight, then Floyd can nullify this tired looking Pac for longer and likely stop him. Manny cannot sustain his attacks like he used to and it is now only in spurts.

Having said that I think Floyd was scared of Manny and the Manny that beat up Cotto scared Floyd to death. I think Manny will be ready for Floyd a good year from now when Arum knows it is the only cashout after the stable has been retrod completely.

Floyd is not going to "risk" losing potential earnings and that should tell you it's about business. If you can have 10 fights and make $20 Million a fight by avoiding a potential loss, then that makes the best business sense.

Im not one of those fans who buys into all that " southpaws are Floyd's Kryponite " stuff but at the same time, i do take into account how the two southpaws gave him more trouble than most.. Chop Chop Corley tagged him easily and buzzed him, giving him one of the toughest test for a few rounds.. JUdah did the same and even knocked him down ( arguably ) with a southpaw right hook.. Imagine what Manny's Manilla Ice can do.

We can sit here and compare the skills of Floyd/PAc, it's easy to picture floyd outboxing him and shit like that but when you have a southpaw like Pacman whose a speed demon and is capable of throwing nonstop punches from odd angles, all of a sudden it becomes a whole different ballgame for a safety first boxer like Floyd.

I beleive that is why we never saw him step into the ring with Margarito although I beleive Margarito still would have been to slow to win on points with volume punching but I think it would have been close.
