I didn't think he was that bad. I think he was/is a fairly decent fighter.... but it was CLEARLY OBVIOUS that he lacks "guidance" and "a second voice"... it was clear by the 5th round that he didn't know what to do when he main plan went south.
He made it very, very far in this game without having a trainer- with him being self trained. It shows his raw talent to not just manage his in ring talents, but also his out of the ring talent with getting fights and being put in positions with win titles.
The man can come back, but dear God I wish he gets at least a half-way decent trainer. It doesn't have to be a Nazim Richardson, Nacho Beristain or a Freddie Roach.... but someone who can see things a little more clearly for him.
