If we're going to be sticklers about what they say, again, he didn't say hee dislikes him. He said "I don't like him", a direct translation of precise meaning of that statement is I do not get joy from him. That's reasonable to not take joy from someone you don't know. It hits the ear funny but by definition is a reasonable statement. Especially since he qualified it by saying it was because he doesn't know him. The implication there is that he probably would like him if he knew him.
