Oh well fuck if you're talking about who COULD, than that's a long list. Pretty much any 168-175 boxer in history who reached an elite level COULD have beat him, because the old "puncher's chance" idiom gives any of them a chance.

Hell, I COULD have beaten Roy Jones if he walked into one of my punches before he obliterated me.

Who gives a shit who could have done anything, or who might have had the best chance?
Well, I'd guess VG_Addict since he/she started the thread. And one would figure you care since you saw a thread titled "Who could...." and came to comment.

Jones lost a lot after coming back but during his prime at 175 anyhow who was it that he beat that was so amazing really. Still going with Spinks by destruction because he was very dominant against better guys and most people rember Tyson fight but beside that Spinks never lost and was never put down.

Guess my name automatically discredits my obvious answer....

Could or would beat Prime Jones? No in history from 160-175...

Only guy that has routinely been pitted in hypothetical match up against natural light heavies and heavies. When he started at 154. That's nuts, almost a subconscious admission that he'd smash anyone under 175.
