If we're talking punch drunk, James Toney is a poster child for that, unless the slurring is natural. Hard to tell.
Nah.... Toney has gotten progressively worse over the last few years. lololol......

But, most of the guys with brain damage and slurred speech is due to their exploits OUTSIDE of the ring that makes the in-ring beatings more significant- a lot of them drink, do drugs, stay up late, have terrible eating habits, sleep around, etc... all of that coupled with the in-ring trauma, and your body cant' heal itself.

To top it all off: Many of these guys don't READ and USE THEIR BRAIN. A sure sign of brain decay is when you actually fail to use it....

Fighters should take to reading more, crossword puzzles, learning an instrument and/or playing analytical games like Chess and/or Scrabble. It assists with building brain matter, concentration and focus- the matter, concentration and focus that gets beaten out during the fight and through training.
