I think that Tyson would have lost to James Toney that beat Holyfield and if Ettienne had survived past 4 rounds he may have beaten Tyson too. He simply was not the same fighter, which is why his defeat to Lewis was no big deal.

I'm not sure Tyson could have beaten John Ruiz, or Rahman or Tua etc by this point. Corrie Sanders might have been able to take him out. Have little doubt that Toney would have. Tyson hadn't been able to do much of anything past a few rounds for years.

Yep, his training wasnt good enough.

He fought intensly but trained moderately (later).

If you are a sprinter you dont train doing gentle jogging.
