Ricky Hatton UD, possible KO in later rounds.
Just an all round better boxer.
I think Morales would have schooled him too in his prime.

Hatton in his pomp was too good for Maidana IMO. He would be in like lightning, rip those body shots and out he goes again with hands up high to parry Maidana's clubbing punches. There's a chance Maidana catches him, but Hatton walked through Tszyu and a slower Maidana would be walked through too. Hatton is underrated now.
I've never heard Hatton underrated, he's one of the best!
I was big fan of Kostya Tszyu and was surprised with that result.
I think the Manny KO was a show stopper though. That and the drugs lol
He's still celebrated highly in the UK I believe.
I think Hatton was better with a bit of weight on him, he did not look good when he came in too light that sunked eye and cheek look could not have done him any favours, especially in the punch resistance department.

I'd take Hatton.
Ricky gets extremely underrated ever since the Floyd and Pacquiao losses, but he was one of the most effective pressure fighters we've seen in the last 20-30 years. I think he would get the job done vs Maidana.

Maidana by early ko

Hatton in his prime was just a different breed of animal.. Maidana is not in that class..
