Right. The guy you are referring to is Victor Conte, who ran Balco, who was busted by the feds and served prison time for distributing steroids to athletes. Why would a guy FAMOUS for being busted, the godfather of PEDs himself, a straight guy who went to prison for it, come out and get into the same racket?

Conte also works with the commissions and some of these anti-doping agencies to enhance drug testing, because obviously he knows the in's and out's. And before he got into the steroid business, he was actually a world renowned nutritionist who pioneered a lot of legit stuff, including doing rigorous testing on athlete's blood to see what could be improved (white cell counts, what nutritients were deficient, ect). From all accounts, he's gone back into the legal nutrition side of things and is doing just fine.

If he was back in the steroid game and had anything to hide, he would be hiding it. You wouldn't hear of people PUBLICLY signing on with him: it would all take place in private like it used to. If a guy was doing steroids, why would he openly hire the godfather of steroids, a guy known for it? The only reason would be is that they're on the level and have nothing to hide. So I don't buy into those conclusions about Donaire and other fighters who are working with Conte.
