Yes, he likes to walk people down. They obviously respect his power. He had Paulie on his heels for a good portion of the fight. By he doesn't throw punches half the time he has his opponents going back.He just kept walking Paulie down eating his jab. I must admit I'm not the most technically knowledgeable boxing fan but why the he'll does he do that. Doesn't he watch his fights ans see his missed opportunities

That's my issue as well. Not just lazy approaching but when he does throw it's often the wrong punch. That's actually what intrigues me. If he could do as well as he has doing the wrong things at the wrong times, how good could he be if he figured it out. There's the rub, can he...

When he has his opponents backing up, which he is good at, it gives him an advantage and he doesn't take advantage of it or am I missing something. it's more difficult to punch going backwards so you would think he would take advantage of it. He does it so frequently I began to think it was part of his game plan but that doesn't make sense. Is it lack of confidence or does he feel it is domination enough to back them up. I think it is arrogance. Like he feels the guy poses no threat so he looks for that highlight punch rather than taking what's there. Donaire does the same thing. That's another great aspect of the jab that is slowly disappearing, creating openings while working rather than watching for openings. It's maddening.

Edit-not that he ever fought at 140 but when he moved from 135 you'd think he could have made 140 comfortably.
