It's OK to Offend Jews and Vegetarians for years then ? Actually Subway have offered Halal meat menus in certain branches since 2007. Some of it's branches in America in areas dense with Jews ( it's like a forest of Payot in parts of New York) offer Kosher menus. I think each store operates as an independent franchise . Still to remove items off a menu for the benefit of one ethnic or religious type of customer seems like overkill. I have friends who are vegetarian and they never stopped buying Subway sandwiches because the stores also sold Steak.

Well, it was a joke about the 'prophets' but also it's true that Subway are removing Pork from 200 of 1500 franchises in UK.
