Depends how you define "great". They definitely weren't/aren't gr8 boxers in an all-time achievement sense but they are great boxers in the sense that they are/were elite top level boxers who only few could beat overall.

Lol maybe he means great next to the average person. Not great when compared to other pro boxers or true great heavyweights.

I think we can rate them both slightly higher than that. Neither of them have ever won a major title so no they are never going to be considered 'great boxers'. But both top 10 competitors in their own eras, in the world. It would be naïve to think of them as shit boxers at that level of competition against that calibre of opponents.

They both have good records at world class. That's slightly higher than the average pro wouldn't you think?

Your contradiction is truly amazing. You give Fraisier no credit even though he was Olympic gold medalist, undefeated world champion, fought the biggest fight in history and left a lasting legacy in the game and yet you want us to remember these guys who have no serious dent in the game. Very foolish.

Briggs is hard to KO. And he has a good KO record. Alex may struggle if he isn't up for 10-12 rounds fight. Fitness has always been an issue for Alex.
