To be honest any amount of logic, a spade full, a heap full, a mountains worth is not going to disprove your opinions because just like your OPINION that Mayweather is the greatest of all time, that is all they are, opinions. The kind of greatness you describe as unheard of is not that at all unless you dismiss those who have already been described in such terms. Which is exactly what you do. No, you're purposely misquoting me. I have no issue if people don't think Floyd is the greatest of all time. There were a ton of great fighters over the last 100 years, there's no shame in people thinking, let's say, SRR was the best ever. I've never said that no other fighter reached a comparable level of greatness. Again, you're setting up straw man arguments. What I said was that Floyd's run, which includes 18 years of undefeated pro-boxing and 16 of those years fighting on a championship level, is unprecedented. And it is. Nobody has fought consistently world class opposition for so long and not only haven't lost, but have had very few competitive fights.

And this theory that "an opinion is just an opinion, all are equal in the eyes of god, an opinion can't be wrong" is complete nonsense. Opinions can be completely worthless if they are baseless or coming from a place of ignorance.

I agree if you form the opinion based on fallacies and ignore all contradictory evidence then you are indeed making yourself seem like quite the idiot. The idea that people involved with boxing on a day to day basis for most of their working life must be wrong because you have decided that any body not putting Mayweather in the top ten of all time greats is stupid and has nothing to offer, is both supremely arrogant and dumb on your part. Much like the red herring that is your straw man argument, you are yourself ignoring the actual issue and just deflecting any real attempt at discussion by questioning the intellectual legitimacy of my reply.
