Frietas was a monster at the weight at that time and showed plenty of heart.
Meh he quit twice so he had quit in him.

Brutal puncher but I don't think he'd have much to offer a 130lb Floyd. Too fast. Would have gotten destroyed.

    De La Hoya quit.
    Roger Mayweather quit.
    Julio Cesar Chavez quit.
    Mike Tyson quit.
    Vitali Klitschko quit.
    Kostya Tszyu quit.
    Erik Morales quit.
    Alexis Arguello quit.
    Sonny Liston quit.
    Devon Alexander quit.
Shane Mosley was begging for someone to stop the Pacquiao fight. "I can't move."

Genaro Hernandez quit against De La Hoya a couple years before Floyd fought Hernandez.
Victor Ortiz quit a couple years before Floyd fought him.
Miquel Cotto conceded on his stool a few years before Floyd fought him.

    EDIT:

It sure didn't look like 17 pounds difference to me when they were fighting.

Yeah but how many of those guys were well past their prime when they quit? Pretty much everyone you listed except Vitali.

And Sonny Liston is known as a quitter.

Question Bradlee how do you think Morales, Barrea, Jmm and Pac would do against him at that weight i think they lose but love hear your thought. I am pretty sure i know what it is but i like to hear who you think would of won and how you think they go for laugh at least.

I think Floyd beats them but I think Julio Ceaser Chavez beats Floyd at this weight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
