Lol no shit eh. This stuff is hilarious. Cant even think of a response. The guy who has never had a bad outing since the first Castillo fight does not make an opponent look silly and he's written off. Drive through boxing.

Yes. Its as clear as day with this insight now. Floyd has aged. Woah Nelly. He realized this moons ago and invested accordingly with 6 payday run and thought out match making. All things considered he has adapted well to resetting close and maintaining that upper body management. You can pick a handful of earlier fights where he fought like a purse swinging chump and would not have thought he could show what he did Sat. night in endurance and adjustment. And in case I haven't said it..I cant stand the motherfunker but fair is fair.

Only Floyd can be trashed for aging. It's funny the pedestal those that don't like him put him on, it's even offensive to others that don't like him!

Damn you Floyd for doing what every human who has ever lived did, damn you all to hell!!

This isn't anything new. He's 37 years old. Even before the Maidana fight you could see he slowed down considerably, even compared to 5 years ago when he fought JMM.

That's life. You're in your physical prime in your 20s and early 30s, and then it goes downhill from there.

Roy Jones was 35 and 15 years into his pro career when he got caught by Tarver and Johnson. When Pernell Whitaker was in his mid 30s he was dropping fights and struggling with guys who had no business being in the ring with him. Floyd's well passed the "fast slickster" expiration date.

he just had a bad fight, simple as that. That does happen too. I think it had more to do that he got bullied than his lack of speed. And he didn't display his full movement.

    Ain't that the sad truth.

I don't think it's his hands that got slower , only his legs . Mayweather has been more stationary in his last 3 fights or so. Guys like Guerrero and Alvarez didn't force Floyd to move for 90% of the round , while Maidana kept pushing Floyd to the ropes and he was not that successfull in moving away

The hands have gotten slower too. Watch the Gatti, Hatton, JMM, ect fights and compare them to now. He's slowed down. He's still fast as shit though.

The beauty of Floyd is that he has adjusted to compensate for deteriorating speed and reflexes. He can't move like he used to so he has mastered more subtle range controlling and pocket counter punching like he did to Canelo.

Floyd needs to fight at a slower, more relaxed pace now that he'd older.

Look so a aged Mayweather still beat a prime champ in a clear tough fight. I mean almost 90 percent of the boxing community thinks he won then most others are draws pretty much. I say thats not to bad look what happened to Jones when he slowed down got tooled real bad. As for how pac and Mayweather would go now Pac just got killed by 40 year old Jmm not to long ago and had close fights with Bradley a great fighter but with no power at all. I like see Pac fight a big puncher at welterweight and see how he holds up see were he is at. I think Mayweather and him my fight for there going away party for 2016 i mean better late then never. I can not believe this shit and i hate that i have to defend a fucker like Mayweather because people seem to forget a whole career after on fight and are surprised a fighter looks old at fucking 37.

Could have just been a rare off night for him, too. Who knows.

It made me really want to see him vs a young bomber like Porter or Thurman though.
