His last comment got more balanced though regarding Floyds record, theres some truth in that.
    Why shave the cash cow?
That's it. When you fight Floyd, apparently you are fighting a HUGE machine- you are down three rounds before the fight starts.

You're fighting Floyd, you're fighting his father and uncle's many years of boxing and training experience, you're fighting against Floyd's money, you're fighting against Floyd's fans and hangers-on's, you're fighting against SHOWTIME MONEY, you're fighting against Showtime's influence over boxing, from the judges to the ref and how they are selected, and you're fighting against every announcer, official and/or event person that works a Floyd Mayweather event and has to work for their money and reputation.....

When you fight Floyd, you fight ALL OF THAT..... while Floyd is the one in the ring, and while we are to give the benefit of the doubt to the staff and personnel around fight night for their integrity, but this is real life. Money and influence can change a lot of things.

FFS man... Floyd is LITERALLY hand-picking his opponents, and almost calling fights off of minor incidents- like the gloves issue in the last fight with Maidana. WTF?? They gloves weren't tampered with, just a different style of glove- a style of glove change Floyd, himself, made popular.

smt.... I'm tellin' you, this Floyd hoopla is good for the pocket books of a few, but bad for boxing in general and it solidifies the crooked status quo- a status quo I hope soon changes for the better!

I somewhat disagree. All of Floyd's advantages definitely give him an edge, no doubt.

But in the end the man who fights Floyd in the ring, is fighting just Floyd. If they are that good they can beat him, they would beat him.

It's still boxing and it doesn't care about money or what not in the end.

Duran has just made idiotic statement regarding rematch. Of course Floyd is gonna run in rematch. He's gonna be at his evasive best and will probably white wash Maidana. I fail to see the negative on Floyd's part there.

Well, of course they are fighting Floyd... but if the rules, hypothetically state, that you are to be fighting with 30oz gloves, with one hand tied behind your back, have to make weight and your opponent allowed to keep weight, and you have to fight the first three rounds with one eye closed as a result of the contract, and your corner is chosen by your opponent... not saying you can't win, but it would be very difficult to do so.

Nah man, Floyd wins because he beats them fair and square. The ref cannot help to any significant extent like that. The judges I feel have never ripped off any fighter against Floyd to the extent that it influenced the decision.

I question his timing of opponents and his ducking of 1 opponent in particular but he has beaten who he has beaten on his own merits.

Duran is right in everything he said. Floyd is an A side fighter so the opponents have as much chance of beating him as opponents against Wlad in Germany.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
