I don't think you fully read my post. I was young when I grew up in Boston (I still live near Boston) so that was my only experience with African Americans. I am older now and see things differently. I don't rant and rave about racism, I was just trying to make a point why some people do. To be honest, I have probably met more screwed up white people but I am white so those are my main contacts. I was saying racism exists around the world, violent racism and slavery still goes on in Africa and a few other parts of the world. There is interracial prejudice, I have seen blacks make fun of blacks with darker skin. I attempt to be tolerant of all, I am in a interracial marriage and sometimes, not often, I catch shit about it. I try to judge people on their merits, not by the color of their skin. You may not, I don't always agree with what Finito said but I understand how that mindset is developed. In the US of course we have our problems but comparatively I think we have done a decent job with civil rights. Don't jump on me, I said a pretty good job, not perfect.
