Hope I'm wrong, but something about Wilder reminds me of Michael Grant. I think once he steps up in class he gets blown out. Hope I'm wrong though.

I lean toward this outcome too. Stiverne has a good chin but doesn't move well, often, or fast enough to stay away from Wilder.
On the other hand, Stiverne knows exactly what Wilder is going to be doing, coming forward and Stiverne does have some skill fighting off the ropes. He also makes good use of his jab.
Wilder likes to get right to work, which could be a problem for Stiverne, who's inclination is to ease into the fight.
Interesting matchup but I think Wilder gets there first and I do believe he has real serious power.

Wilder is a beast. IF you trade with him then you are probably going out.


Stiverne is accomplished at a higher level though and a good fighter. He could KO Wilder.


I'd figure the 6'7" monster would get there first tho.

The Wolverhampton Wizard speaks again! I couldnt agree more. Stiverne has that 'smoke" in his shots. Wilder never even got hit. Its like Michael Grant. I have a thread from 2 mos. ago where I compare Wilder to Michael Grant. Wilder and Grant and Jermaine Taylor, they all have the same chin, and thats pretty chinny. Chinny chin-chin, Wilder gets sparked by the first clean hard shot he takes.

Repeat (for the history books, like my perfect call last year that Stiverne would be the next HW Champ) I repeat:
