Wlads fights do really big money compared to those guys, Arreola-Stiverne 2 was on ESPN after all. I'm surprised Stiv made that much more than Arreola if anything.
thats exactly why people fight wlad. they get paid so much and they are terrible. lets put it this way, lepai got paid as much as andre ward did in his last fight and ward is #2 p4p while lepai is a top 50 HW which is the worst division in the sport pretty easily (maybe cruiser is close). somebody at his skill level should be making about 10 thousand a fight at best. so he literally made 100 fold of what he is actually worth.
There it is why boxing can be unfair and great at the same time.
Alex got a great pay day after pulling off an upset. Two far better heavyweight get a fraction of that and put up a far better fight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Leapy got 1.5 Mill
THats miles more than he made for recording Little Arrows!!!!!!!
i wouldnt call it taking a stab at the cruiserweight division. i was just mentioning that it is the only division that is comparable to the skill level of the HW division right now notwithstanding exciting fighters. a lot of bad boxers are exciting. im simply stating a fact.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!
