Its a long shot for Toney to lose this one imo. I think Peter is just to limited, Toney will slip, duck and counter his way to a UD.

There are some good videos of these guys on Shotime.com but anyways about the fight this fight will be good if toney gets his big ass head knocked off, remember that peter was walking through all of Klitschko's shots all of them except the 12 and final round. And Yes james is good but he has never fought a man with this type of power rahman never had his power and aggression. It is gonna be I say a 7th or 8th round knock out for Peter!!!
OK here is what the experts are saying....

The first "expert" fancies Toney by KO

Toney looks a little more in check. Still has titties and a rubber ring around his waist but he looks better, not good by any means though....Originally Posted by wacko3205
Peter is way too big though, could very well cost him the fight. Very foolish....
Is there any other sport in the world where one of the best in the world can turn up to a competition to decide the second best player in the world where the competitor can turn up at 5'9" and 230lbs, and still be considered a favourite. And let's be honest, the weight that Toney has gained since he was a middleweight is not all muscle by a long shot.
The only sports I can think of are golf (Mickelson), Bowls (all of them), ten pin bowls (ditto) and WWE wrestling (Yokozuna). And the only one of any physical work is WWE, and we all know that's fixed, so come on Sam Peter, KO this wannabe middleweight.
but u see Peter is too heavy too.
In my view though, the difference is that Peter doesn't have a fight plan based on avoiding the opponent's shots and working with great counter. For this plan, Toney does seem to be a very big man, and the weight will not help him as he tries to duck and dodge through Peter's shots. The plan for Peter is to be as strong as possible, and blast Toney out of there. He's a big fella and packs a big punch, and that is where I think the difference is. Also, Peter is 4 inches taller than Toney too, so he probably carries the extra weight easier than someone of Toney's stature. However, I'm sure if he goes in against Klitschko, Peter would not be as big as he is this weekend, while Toney.....thinks he can beat anyone however big he is.Originally Posted by plinden

So you're saying Peter coming in heavy is an advantage and James coming in lighter is a disadvantage?Originally Posted by superheavyrhun
Peter didn't really look like throwing the shots that he'd need to beat Toney, he won a decision against Hawkins a guy he should have stopped. I'm not sure I'm buying this toney hype. If Toney used a jab then he has a chance, he doesn't. If Peter wins it would be by quick stoppage while he's flaining toneys arms
Naah, what I was trying to say was that Toney coming in heavy affects his gameplan and the way he fights more than Peter coming in heavy does. Peter is, in essence, a very good, one dimensional power fighter. He is going to go in the ring, and try and hit Toney till he falls over. How much he weighs doesn't really affect that plan too much.Originally Posted by Majesty
However, Toney, is going to go in there, try and avoid and block, and try and counter Peter. What i was trying to say was that Toney needs to go in there agile, and have the 12 round stamina to keep moving and keep out of the way of PEter's big punches through the fight. My view is that if Peter catches Toney flush with one of his biggest punches, then Toney is going to struggle to get back on his feet, and that's why he needs the stamina and agility to stay out of the way.
Tonight on ESPN's Friday Night Fights we get two treats...the main event is another showcase of up & coming Super Middleweight prospect Allan Green.
Many regard Green as the next big thing at 168lbs. That remains to be seen. Keeping him busy & feeding him leftovers & journeymen has been enough to appease critics so far...no need in rushing him until he's good & ready.
But first...finally...the rematch that some of us have been waiting for!
Augustus Burton II.
For those of you that missed it...back in 2004 these two faced off & Augustus clearly had the upper hand pretty much the majority of the fight...but it fell upon the judges to pass this match off as one of the most obvious hometown knods that we would ever see. Let's see if Augustus can redeem himself as he finally get's his shot at righting the wrong against Burton.
