People hating on Shannon's fights right now, but why? He has always had tune up fights, especially later his career.
He had like 4 fights in afew months on the lead up to the Vitali fight. Including 3 fights in 5 weeks.
I respect him for doing it, staying busy and getting on with it.
The thing to remember is, he's not promoting these fights as huge amazing spectacles, he knows what they are and he keep quiet about it.

Briggs just needs to keep busy, active and shouting his mouth off at Wlad's pess conferences and he will meet the WBC winner instead.

I don't recall Briggs career well because he's been irrelevant for the great majority of time but my recollection was that Briggs looked absolute shit in that fight up until the KO. Am I remembering this wrong?

You are right. That fight was truly awful and I wanted to kill myself.
