Good adjustment by Stevenson. Fonfara has no power inside.
Also Stevenson is finally keeping his hands up to defend.

That left upper inside where Stevenson literally lifts his lead off the mat to throw while squared, like a shoulder/uppercut. His next ko will be a straight right hand coming over that

Stevenson did well to come back like that after the knockdown but he looked really vulnerable tonight. You can understand why he avoided Kovalev and went for the money. Hopkins will be desperate to fight him now.
Good to see Stevenson tested and make adjustments. I like him vs Hopkins because of his work rate. Hopkins will let him take rounds off when he's tired. I like Kovalev to steamroll him early though. His defence is not great.
Hop kills Stevenson. Easy fight for him, Adonis isn't clever enough and gets tired. Hop will frustrate and exhaust him and put the pressure on late in the fight. He might not be able to stop Stevenson, but he will kill him in the late rounds. Kovalev destroys him also. I'm hoping that Hop beats Stevenson, then decisions Kovalev and retires. That would put him in my top 20 all time for sure.
Taylor wasn't clever and he was able to beat Hopkins twice. I'd say Stevenson has shown that he's able to make adjustments in the ring better than Taylor could. Also seems like Stevenson can fight a bit inside which is important against Hopkins. If Stevenson doesn't go balls to the wall for the KO early as he did in this fight I think he can beat Hopkins by out working him. Hopkins is more than willing to let you work at a slower pace.
