Easy win for Eubank. He'd have completely messed with Froch's head as well.
Eubank liked fighters to come at him and Froch would duly oblige. Eubank just counters him all night long and takes a decision.

Eubank could be outhustled and slept on a few 'lesser' guys but he was just too thick for a wide & random Froch. Chin, accuracy and boiling a guy down, very cagey and had the pop to win.

I don't see to many people beating Chris in his prime or over a best of three. Maybe two guys. Roy and Joe.

Lots of atg's have been beaten by lesser opponents and club fighters and some knocked out by them like Armstrong, Arguello and Benny Leonard to name a few . Watson is another fighter that on any given night in his prime could have beaten anyone and Chris never lost on the official ledger although I think Michael won the first. We all know what happened in the second. No shame on losing to Collins on points either and I think Chris's ego got the best of him at the time. I think he could have beaten Collins but he didn't.
Britain was stacked at 160-168 in those days and akin to the Fab 5 days in the 80's on this continent. Five because I include Benitez with Leonard, Duran, Hearns and Hagler. 168 is a young division but Chris makes my top 5 list. The only guy I see him having problems with today is Ward.

Yeah atg at 168 imo. None of those belts are real and the WBO was as young as the division. Its also the same belt that Joe fought him for after Collins retired and then Joe defended that newbie title 17 time before unifying with Lacy. Atg's do lose to clubbers during their reign brother. Robinson lost to Pender twice and back to back. Arguello lost his title to Vilomar Fernandez. If it wasn't half past 6 in the morning I could list several but its happened lots. Oh for sure he was hyped but no more or less then anyone else. You cant just go by resumes on atg lists because if we did many, many fighters would be dismissed.

Eubank had a very fragile psychology as demonstrated by Collins. He was spookable. All that front usually is just cover and unfortunately his son seems even more deluded than his Dad. Eubank Jr did not boss Froch in that sparring video and will come apart at the seams like a badly made toy as soon as he actually fights somebody other than the guy who delivers the gyms water bottles.
I agree it's a terrific match, pretty sure I'd pick Eubank on his best form, he was much less consistent than Carl so forget how good he was some nights. However, one things for sure, the gene pool couldn't lose in the event of a tragedyTwo absolute first class jackasses imo. Eubank was before my time and there must be some reason he's well liked, but to listen to him now... Christ, I just feel like he should have things thrown at him on a regular basis.
