Oi, I told everybody leading up to the fight that Georgie didn't have the goods and Froch was going to mop him up and it happened. Casual fans are the ones who go OH GEORGIE IS SO GREAT and then when he loses OH GEORGIE IS SHITE. I told you he was shite from the beginning. Thats insight mate.

They were both more conservative and that's what surprised (and disappointed) me.

Groves started fast last time and it worked really well for him. Everyone knows Froch can be slow to get going and Groves should have tried to put a few rounds in the bank, but he didn't.

For all his talk, it's obvious Groves was worried about running out of gas after the last fight and he was far too cautious.

All in all, the fight was a big let down after all the hype. It was hardly Benn v Eubank.

I thought it was a good fight, groves had respect for frochs fitness and punch power which made him think twice about exchanging.

Froch took his time and wasn't troubled even when groves landed froch just comes on stronger

Big win for Froch and bigger paydays are on the way. I hope Carl is saving his money. At his age it won't be long before it's over. I love a guy like Calzaghe who had enough brains to walk away with all his marbles and money in his pocket.

Didn't see the first fight. This one seemed exciting. I always liked Froch. Groves left himself wide open. I always appreciate the UK fans. You guys have an electric atmosphere. Anyway, congrats to all the Froch fans. If Groves doesn't add some defense to his rapport I fear for him

groves did well, but he should try to not be such a douche for real. talks too much smack.

he aint got shit to say now i reckon....
Frock's corner had the the right of it for sure. Good for them!
I don't think you're being fair to Groves though, in my opinion. I don't know the boxing scene in England like some of you, but from my point of view what Groves did in the first fight, the quick stoppage, Froch's unsportsmanlike attitude, AND the way Groves retaliated with more and better smack led to one of biggest fights in England, in years.
I think the experience of the two fights is going to be a positive thing for his career in the long run. Failure has a way of focusing your attention on problems in a good way at times, like listening to you trainer and your corner.

Real nice shot. He was actually starting on the right at the beginning of the sequence and feint. Executed perfectly.

Groves signed with Sauerland before the fight...as if he knew he's need the Davis Price rehab plan! Hahaha!

This fight was more of a boxing match than a brawl, Froch boxed a lot better it was pretty even
till Carl hit him with that right hand, very good punch on the button.!
I enjoyed the fight and the under card as well, boxing is alive and well all other so called fight sports
are a poor second, compared to a big fight 80.000 people marvelous.
Froch and Groves showed class this time round, Carl with his comment on winning and George with
    his on losing.

Was surprised at the cagey start but from day 1 had thought Froch in 9 and thats where my money was -

What a punch - how the hell did Groves leap up from it after a few seconds ?? He actually looked worse from it 2 minutes later than he did ten seconds later !

On another note where was Sky presenter Adam Smith anyone know ? I switched on late and it was being presented by Jonny Nelson and he wasn't seen. His twitter had nothing on it since yesterday morning either

    Just concerned

That is pretty tasteless and shows very little class. People are being extremely quick to dismiss a young fighter who even the Champion admitted was not just competitive but nip and tuck with him for many of the rounds. Froch was booed at the end of the first fight for not giving the underdog a bit of credit but the gloating from some here is no better considering we are all supposed to be boxing fans. Losing does not make you shit particularly from a knockout which can strike anyone at any moment. There is no taking away from what Carl has achieved and that in the end is what the night ended up being all about. Where is the credit in stopping an overhyped mediocre opponent ?

Exactly how I had it, watt is going senile. Khan had Groves ahead too.
