Yeah for sure mate, he has achieved loads, no arguing that.
Think it was about 50/50 at the time of the stoppage. Dosen't matter if Froch had lost every round til then though, he landed the punch that mattered. No complaints.
Still think he's a tool though the way he talks.

I mean I like Carl but did you see he way he was smiling like a smug little cunt, soaking up the praise from Hearn? Such a fake smile. He was even checking Groves out to see if he was looking at him, like ''yeah, check me out''.
Proper cunt ain't he
Love it![]()

He posted this up on his FB page on Saturday night
Unfortunately for George tonight, he was on the end of a very heavy right hand. But we both did ourselves proud.
It was probably done by his PR and if you are cynical you could call it damage limitation after the PR disaster of the first post fight comments but It's still a marked change. After the fight he was far more magnanimous and I don't think it was just the emphatic nature of the victory that prompted it. Fair play to him he is a justifiably proud guy even if he is a touch smug. He brother is clearly a bit of a knob though and Eddie Hearn is unbearable when around him, particularly before the first fight when he should have been representing both fighters. Do not forget it was Hennessey who guided Froch up until the semi-final of the super six and yet Hearn would have you believe he made him.

Froch brothers do look like idiots.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Their mother got done for benefit fraud not too long ago. For the shit that the Furys get for being pikeys, you don't get much scummier than benefit fraud!
Imagine if Mayorga was a natural Super middle and he had a fight scheduled with Froch, he would rip the living shit out of him for that! If Froch thought Groves was disrespectful for even thinking he could beat him, he spit the dummy against Mayorga
Forchs scummy parents http://www.nottinghampost.com/Woman-...ail/story.html

I'd say Hearn did make him the "star" he became. Hennessey had him on BBC, ITV and Sky yet Froch went completely unknown to the British public. The Taylor fight wasn't even broadcast live in Britain and until signing with Matchroom Froch's supersix fights were all on Primetime in front of one man and his dog (Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham).
All these world-class fights going completely under the radar.
Froch spent the supersix - barring the Dirrell fight - fighting in the other guys backyard because he was the B-side in everything.
Eddie (Matchroom) made him the A-side. Remember they gambled on the Bute fight, stumping up the dough to get Bute out of Canada, that's basically where the Carl Froch "fame" came from. 7000 tickets... 20,000... 80,000... no TV to PPV... £100,000 for "world" title fight to £10 million.

Upon review, I now see that I should have gone with "Are you going to cry? You're going to cry aren't you?"![]()
