Cotto haters need to at least try to be objective. What is Martinez doing defending his title using a knee brace? What next an arm brace because somebody has a shot elbow? Why should he be able to get leverage advantage through artificial means? This is ridiculous and if that injury is that bad then quit fighting.

...You could also include needing xylocaine injections in the hands to numb them to be able to fight. But then a guy'd only be able to fight in Nevada because xylocaine in the hands in banned by most other athletic commissions in the USA.

Agreed... Martinez is the undisputed champion of the world and should have never agreed to these bullshit terms in the 1st place. I like Cotto but the whole A side B side crap is nonsense when it comes to respect to the champion and Cotto should have understood that. It was never a level playing field from the get go. Cotto is already a small junior middleweight to begin with.
