Bailey fight in same venue where crowd was heavily swayed...just 1 fight out of Ghana...that's a loooong road to travel!

Not a lot of combination punching though..jabs singular and sure as shat hasn't been hit with the kind of one punch shit-your-shorts bricks that Bailey has shown. Def want to see this fight!

Bailey is the man. He has gotten where he just stalks his man putting out throw away jabs all to set up the monster right hand. And sometimes that just doesn't pan out. But when it does....my GAWD is it something to see.

Sounds like you've seen this kid a fair share. Bailey got a good chance?

Man I wish this was on TV or the Cotto-Martinez undercard or something.
There are a few of his fights up if you can get through shitty camera angles , but he looks aight...not sensational but not a clueless guy with empty numbers either. Self aware and fast. Thanks dude for giving us a heads up

Bailey def has a shot, sometimes its all he needs. The perfect right early and at full extension in a gap...Lawson goes to sleep! Its a good match but all I've seen is a website plugged to show it. Bailey has been and remains must see tv
Have to disagree with you guys about Bailey, he is one of the most boring fighters around, in my opinion. Following your opponent around the ring waiting to land the big shot is not boxing.
He is a cherry picking headhunter and whenever he runs into/steps up to someone who can box and move he looks like an oaf, a mannequin, or the tin-man.
He is also lazy as hell, he really hasn't worked to develop himself into a fighter, has not tried to learn his craft beyond delivering his one big weapon.
His KOs are brutal and fun to watch, but here is a guy who could have been one of the great ones but instead is a plodding one punch KO artist, a fucking waste in my opinion.
A Thomas Hearns without the desire, drive or ambition to be the best.
Hah, you kinda beat me to it. The guy has a perfect right hand, but if you take away the 5 or 6 times he's landed it over the past decade, he's been completely terrible to watch. I'm not sure he's actually ever been in a legitimately good fight either?

Not sure how Hearns would feel about your last sentence either It's slighting him a little bit to imply that Bailey just didn't have the desire to get to that level, he never had anywhere near the ability or physicality either, Hearns was just a much more talented guy. We don't know how hard Bailey has worked on anything or what his potential was, some just naturally have a terrific punch and nothing else comes easily to them. The dude is old now to, against Cotto(earliest fight of his I've seen) he wasn't tentative for instance, he just got his ass whipped.

Sounds like a couple of guys who have only seen the Mike Jones fight, the Alexander fight and that's about it. Pretty ignorant.

Never been in a good fight? Lol

Watch his fights with Frankie Figueroa, Juan Urango and Diabelys Hurtado.

He's 39 years old for fucks sakes. That's why all he does now is look exclusively for the right hand.

He used to have a good left hook too, that's how he won his first world title.

He could box too n work as evidenced by a damn good fight he was robbed in up on Canada vs. Herman Ngoudjo.

Bailey has huge power in that right hand, the punch he landed on Juan Urango was MASSIVE.

I think he's a bad style matchup when you're looking for an all action fight because obviously he doesn't do that kind of boxing, he looks for a window which sometimes he never finds. He doesn't have the best chin or handle pressure well, but that right hand fixes a lot of problems that just how good it is.
