How are you right? You said George was WAY overrated and only had a punchers chance yet the 2nd best guy at 168lbs went life and death with him twice. His punchers chance had him well ahead in the first fight and had it pretty even in the 2nd. Questioning his chin and stamina would be fine but there should be no question marks about his skill level.
life and death hahahaha First fight ol' Carl was just warmin' up. Took him a few rounds then he lowered the fucking boom. Same way Lennox took apart Vitali. Those aging Greats sometimes dont take fights seriously enough/dont train hard enough, and they pay a price for it like Lewis did against Vitali or Carl did the 1st fight with Groves. BUT COME ON WAKE THE FUCK UP... YOU CALL THE 2ND FIGHT "LIFE AND DEATH"? HAHAHAHA groves only won 2 rounds, one even, at best.
Carl himself conceded that Groves was well in the fight and it was pretty even. I thought Groves won the 2nd, 5th and 7th rounds and was winning the 8th comfortably up until the knockout punch. I think you're letting hatred/wanting to be right cloud your judgement.
I gave Groves 1, 2, 3 or 4, 5 and 7. Think Sky tricked you Brock. Jim Watt was trying to claim Froch was winning the battle of the jabs despite landing fuck all. Most of Frochs shots were landing on arms and gloves, he did land some body shots but not enough to be winning rounds for me. It was pretty clear that sky were biased towards Groves. I have it 4-1 Groves after 5 but sky had it the other way around. I really thought they were trying to build hype for a third fight. Jim Watt had it 9-3 to Froch but judges gave it to Froch, robbery, they need a 3rd fight etc.
