Last play of the damn game. It doesn't get anymore heartwrenching than that.
Hope the U.S. can recover psychologically.

England is terrible for the reasons I highlighted earlier. If you want good home based talent, then you must nurture it. You cannot allow foreigners to just come in and laugh at you. They don't come for the weather.

The England team will NEVER improve unless the premier league is tamed. Unless you care about the home nation, then nothing will ever get better. I apply this logic from football to immigration, to everything.

You support the corporate behemoth that is Liverpool and consequently are part of the problem.

Not really, Liverpool was a couple of years. Where was the rest of the UK? Exactly. It had nothing. It is a metaphor for the UK. A tragic and pointless nation.

England are doing well with the B side.

At least they are giving it a go and Milner/Shaw are getting up there a lot.

I think it is in one of the hotter cities of brazil at this time of year so that could help old mexico, and mexico have been fairly good, very good defensively, I think the dutchmen might have a problem when coming up against a very well disciplened defence.. if robben and van persie are still on top form then it could be bad :S..

I am going to tip mexico for the upset ... 1-0 in extra time !

dutchman daley blind has been doing very well this world cup , he has had a couple of good assists so far, I think he could be on the move after this tournament

Don't be too hard on him. He was just involved in the greatest ever late season choke in professional sports history. The players and the fans involved are just beginning to come to terms with the magnitude and significance of their collapse. For Suarez that may have been the moment when it sunk in, so to speak.

I do not think it was the jinx more the cross from Ronaldo and the superb header to score the equaliser.
