This should be a competitive fight, unless Russell is just too damn fast for him.


I used to confuse Gary Russell Jr. with Gary Stark Jr. first couple times I saw them as they started around the same time as prospects.


Stark Jr. stepped up his competition and lost then retired.


Russell was def more talented, but never stepped up his and is still undefeated.

Russell can't step it up if nobody will fight him...he's been begging for the top guys.
Jhonny Gonzalez and others wanted no parts.

Putting Lomenchenko in with Russell is the worst move there is to make..

Bob must have taken a life insurance policy out on Lomo...somebody should check up on that.

Russell was offered a fight with DeLeon. Which he refused. And he was offered a chanced to go to Mexico to fight Gonzalez. Which he never responded too.

Russell has been matched extremely soft to hide a flaw he has. The Lomenchenko fight was almost forced on them due to the title being vacant. If not they wouldn't be fighting him. It's hilarious hearing Russell talk up his pro experience over Lomenchenko like if it actually matters. Lomenchenko has only 2 fights. And he's already fought for a world title. Faced a bigger fighter. Faced adversity. And he's gone 12 rounds. He's already more experienced than Russell

Jhonny Gonzales was offered a fight with Russell but refused.
On this side of the border

25 pro fights is more experience than 2 pro fights...

Russell has more PRO experience than Lomenchenko.
