Hatton was extremely overrated; he beat Tszyu, but it would have been different in America, I don't think he would have been able to fight the same way, but that was about it. I mean he beat an old Castillo, but not an impressive win for Floyd

Marquez was very undersized, came up 2 weight classes, and Floyd didn't even make weight. Garbage

Genaro Hernandez was a very impressive win. He doesn't get enough credit for that one.

Corrales was also a very big notch in his belt.

Cotto was a good win, but again, Floyd only fought him after multiple losses and 2 knockouts. He should have fought him before Margarito. can't use the money excuse with that one. Cotto has always been a draw.

Floyd's ultimate knock has been he ducked guys. Didn't fight Cotto or Mosley in their prime, never fought Tszyu, Paul Williams or Margarito. Didn't fight Pacquiao.

I think he could have won all those fights, but we'll never know.

Here's the thing, and I agree with a lot of your points don't get me wrong, but the problem is people look at fights that never happened and automatically say "Well Floyd obviously ducked them". That simply isn't true. There's a lot of revisionist history that goes on.

Cotto turned down a Mayweather fight when both guys were at 140.

Floyd called out Mosley CONSISTENTLY since 1999. It was Mosley who chose to move up in weight to fight DLH, and then he famously ducked Floyd once Floyd moved up. This has been documented. Another fact is that when Floyd fought Mosley, he was ranked higher than he had been since 2001 before Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright beat his ass twice each. He was never the man again until he whipped Margarito's (the #1 WW) ass, then he was on top again and Floyd fought him.

Most of these guys who people claim Floyd ducked or was afraid of, Floyd publicly called out.

It's all revisionist history. Before the Hatton fight, people said "ohh Floyd will never fight an elite pressure fighter like Hatton, he knows how much trouble he had against JLC and Hatton is a better pressure fighter than him, he won't be able to run from Hatton, Hatton's body work will wear Floyd down, ect."

Then Floyd wins: "Oh well Hatton sucked anyway. Actually it was the refs fault because he didn't let Ricky fight. Oh wait no it was because they fought at 147. If fat alcoholic Ricky was made to dehydrate himself to cut 7 more pounds, he would have performed better for some reason."

It's just silliness. Floyd is an asshole but give him his due, he is a brilliant boxer.
