What if Floyd faced Andrade, Lara if he beats Canelo, Cotto at MW, or Danny Garcia?

When did anyone here say he was top 10 i said he was a atg you said he was not atg now you are saying he is top 25 or 30. The highest i can give Mayweather is top 15 lost i can give is 30 i do not think anyone said he was top 10 in these thread. My number 10 is Leonard i don't see Pac or Mayweather going there or past him really. Reason being Leonard is just as skilled as Mayweather i think more offensivly skilled and better resume also Pac can't really touch Leonards resume either so thats what keeps them out of the top 10 for me.

I said he is one of the best ever (top 25 to 30) never said he was an all time great. I consider the all time greats those among the top 10 If your going to push it out further then where do you stop top 50? Top 100? top 1,000?

I think a sport that has been around over a 100 years and has a lot of eras can have a top 50 being the cut off. When most do a list like ring or espn it is a top 100 list. This sport has been around for a fucking long time if you reach the top 30 you can be called a atg i think that is perfectly logical.

I'm not faulting your opinion I'm just telling you what I consider an all time great like I've said all along - Floyd was/ is amazing and certain fights would have left no doubt about his brilliance

Think about how we would view Ali if after his forced layoff he came back but never fought Frazier Leonard if he had never fought Hearns and instead moved up Whitaker if the Chavez fight was never made

To be fair the only one on that level is Pac that would of gotten him there. I mean Mosley took a vacation and Oscar during his prime years didn't give Mayweather the time of day. Hell Cotto just achieved being the ring champ lineal champ he never did that and Mayweather beat him clearly few years ago.

Agreed that facing Pacquiao upon his return would have strengthened his legacy but I also think the Wright fight would have significantly made things undeniable just image Floyd stepping up from 140 to face Wright who had just defeated Trinidad and was going to move down in weight to 154 for the bout that would have been an impressive challenge I also believe fighting the Cotto of 07/ 08 or Margarito instead of retiring wouldn't have left such a bad taste in so many fans' mouths

I also think Casamayor around 00/ 01 would have been a significant scalp leading up to Corrales

Trying to make Spadafora or Dorin instead of Sosa and Ndou would be more valuable

    Tszyu then Hatton at 140

Move to 147 to take Spinks' championship, then defending against Margrito

Retire and come back to face Pacquiao, then challenge Martinez for the middleweight championship

I know network rivalries and promoter differences prevented many of these fights but that's whats frustrating as that sort of record would give credibility to Floyd's claims as TBE or the GOAT

Danny Garcia is the most pointless fight for Floyd to take. Hes a plodder that Mayweather has no problems with and is also probably smaller so not going to be stronger then Floyd, would be the biggest bitch move by Floyd in his career if he was to fight him. Porter or Thurman are the guys he should be fighting if he is going to give a young guy a shot.
