Ali was out on his feet when Cooper dropped him. Dundee also used smelling salts in the corner to revive Ali, when the round ended. Lucky for Ali that this did not happen early in the round or the middle of it, he would have been stopped.

Funny, I think Ali was only down 3 times and they were all off of left hooks (not counting Wepner's KD, which clearly was a slip)

His left hook was quicker than Joe Frazier's. And Henry landed it 'left' on-the-button.
It landed flush on Cassius Clay's chin. It nearly took Clay's head clean off his neck.
