He was finished in 2011. Orlando Salido ruined him. But he still had heart. Not any more. Him stuttering, all indecisive about continuing in his corner shows he no longer has that

Yeah he's done. It's sad. He was such a beast in his prime, now in his early 30s he looks like an old man in there. The wars with Salido ruined him.

He had a great career, but he's been done for some time now. Anyone who encourages JuanMa to give it another go should be ashamed of themselves. Retirement is the only option.

He's going to get hurt. Long-term help me tie my shoes kind of hurt. I hope he retires but the networks will again give him the platform probably back home and he'll jump.

I can tell you if they took a poll here about what JuanMa should do next it'd be 95-5 for retirement, at least.

Mares is spent also. He's to small for 126 and he's gun shy and tentative.

No kidding. He literally can not take a flush shot. I have no ides how he makes it through sparring. He'll be on ESPN getting knocked the fuck out soon enough

To be fair he had been out of the ring for awhile and was returning from his first loss I'm glad he got in some rounds but I think he needs at least one more outing against another second tier opponent before tackling the elite

He showed some ring rust. But i do agree that 126 is not the best weight for him

Expect it to happen. There is no shame in boxing.
