I was wondering where might show the footy when we are over there. Only problem is we might get a smack when singing Irish songs or give someone a smack for keeping on calling us British .

Are taxis expensive or can you walk to most places from the strip. Anything over 20 degrees turns my pasty skin red in seconds

Taxi is the only way to go, especially if you have limited time. The cabbies want you to come back so they treat you well and know the town. Vegas isn't huge unless you start walking. Lol
