Dan Rafael has said on Twitter that Sergio informed him that he will continue fighting. Probably not gonna be a good thing I dont see how he can nearly at 40 with bad legs he can continue.

Sergio never really made the BIG money so he may want one more payday. I do believe he is a bachelor, however, so his style of living should not eat up everything like it has Tito and others. Or maybe it will even more.![]()

Really wish he wouldn't. Hindsight is 20-20 but he showed every sign of a guy who needs to call it a day. I thought he was a model and some sort of competitive rower back home??
I don't think he's a poor man,! he's was Light middle weight Champ on 2 occasions for a number
of years, he may not have made Cotto money but hardly destitute.
Just one more fighter that can't call it a day,! this is nothing new in this sport far to many carry
on far to long.!
Would be horrible to see him in with GGG or Quillin now. Either could do serious damage. Imagine he came out tho and beat either of them. Would show how good the Cotto performance was.
I like Sergio. He is a stand up guy and great competitor. That being said, I wish he would hang it up. He relies heavily in speed, athleticism, and mobility and it seems that age and wear and tear have robbed him of those abilities.
Was really wishing he would retire after Cotto debacle,He has not been his best for a while now
and has slipped badly.Hope he changes his mind on his retirement, superb fighter in his prime.
No No Sergio, why? The chavez fight was the last fight he was himself for the most part even the murray fight you could see he wasn't fully 100%, the cotto fight i couldnt even finish watching...his style is a young man's game, this sucks!
