    Some, himself included claim he fought over 300 times. Had some close fights with Greb, Langford and Gans.

    1931: Mickey Walker D 15 Jack Sharkey, Brooklyn.

    1955: Sugar Ray Robinson W 10 Rocky Castellani, San Francisco. Rocky was one of these guys that could just not get over the hump. He fought Ray tough in this one flooring him but losing the split.

    1963: Sonny Liston KO 1 Floyd Patterson, Las Vegas. Retains world heavyweight title.

    1987: Rene Arredondo KO 6 Tsuyoshi Hamada, Tokyo. Regains WBC super-lightweight title.

    I remember Rene Arredondo pretty well, LA fighter. At least he fought there a lot. The guy Trinidad fought was a southpaw and I believe the last punch was a right to the solar plexus, which you don't see much any more.

    Watching these older fights again I wonder why did back muscles disappear? Old timers backs were shredded.
