That was a long round.
From what I have seen so far, Geale is getting knocked out. Only question now is how many rounds.

Cut in the fourth minute of the round?![]()

If Geale was smart he'd demand that be deducted from next round![]()
And there it is. Geale is a quality middleweight and Golovkin beat him without ever getting out of first gear.

Well Cotto/Floyd/Quillin and the rest are going to be queuing up to fight him now!
Cotto is the only big name left at middleweight with a decent resume and I don't see him making it twelve rounds either. Maybe before the wars and I stress maybe, but not now. Quillin is there as well, but he hasn't even been in the ring with someone the level of Geale, let alone GGG. Just the fact that Quillin is ranked so high with his level of opposition says more about the mw division than any words can.
If Cotto was GGGs size it would be interesting. I'd pick GGG anyway. But Cotto started at 140, he's too small. Quillen is being hidden for a reason. The good fights are at 168. The most money is probably a Cotto fight, Canelo fight or Chavez Jr. I can understand him taking those fights, it's business. But short of getting a payday fight it's time to fight his quality of fighter. He's proven he wrecks guys that are beneath him, it's time to see who all is beneath him. Is Froch beneath him? Ward?
I think he stops Froch. A GGG/Ward fight is probably the fight I most want to see.
Geale didn't want anymore of Golovkin. I think he understood what everyone else was seeing. He couldn't hurt Golovkin, he was getting hurt by Golovkin, and he was giving his all and getting beat by a guy who hadn't even broken a sweat. There wasn't going to be a lucky punch tonight, he couldn't dodge GGG's power for one round let alone 12, and even if he could he was still getting outboxed and losing rounds. It looked hopeless from round one and just kept getting worse. Once he got knocked down for the second time, he had that look on his face like "I have absolutely no idea what to do to turn this around." Still didn't expect him to quit though.

Its like GGG ate Geale's right hook and used the energy to maximize his own right's output.

I feel bad for Geale, you cannot deny Golovkins Drago talents though.
