If ya'll got the style people want tosee, it would be reflected in the marketplace.

A mexican isn't the biggest draw in boxing.

I don't see JMM cashing any huge checks.

The biggest name in mexican boxing today ....Canelo...sold only $350,000 ppv buys against another Mexican.

    Those are Mayweather /Baldomir numbers.

Still waiting on the numbers from the Lara fight.
Marquez has been cashing 7 figure checks for the last 7 years.
At the ass end of his career.

    Hell....

Broner cashing 7 figure checks and he's not mexican...or 40 years old..So is Andre Ward.

Mexicans aren't the only fighters people want to see by longshot.
The aggressive Mexican style, Sir. He was saying people want to see the aggressive, come forward style epitomized by many Mexican fighters. He was not saying Mexican fighters are the most popular, the highest paid, or the best.

GGG is a phenom. Let us appreciate him while he's in his prime and rising. He comes to fight, in shape, fights clean, doesn't trash talk, boast or complain.

And he destroys people. Very tough people.

    What's not to like?

I didn't understand why the idiot FinitoDinamita used to slag GGG off , to me he is one of the most efficient fighters in the game , he would murder Cotto inside 3 also.
Someone said it before GGG = CYBORG.

Make GGG-Mayweather or GGG-Cotto. Get it in. GGG looks real.

If you set odds, how would set GGG-Mayweather?

Cotto would get very badly hurt if he fights GGG , he would get retired.

Maybe he took the KO loss hard.

And GGG vs Mayweather? why even mention that?

GGG ain't moving down and I know Mayweather ain't moving up.

GGG is going to go up to S Middle sooner rather than later..

Let me say this, if Groves can give Froch a hard time, GGG will kill him.

GGG is the consensus best at 60; Mayweather is the consensus best at 154. It makes perfect sense. Mayweather is the cash cow. GGG the KO artist. Perfect foil?

Oscar, Duran and Leonard had the balls to fight the best middleweight of their era. Does Floyd?

    No, no he doesn't.

Floyd would take Cotto at 160lb but not GGG. I would not blame him either.

He did give him a chance Miles, he gave him a chance to say no thanks mate.
It's just my thing, I am never into these count outs when the fighter is up. If he was down and then only up at 8 and falling all over the place, but Geale wasn't at the completely drunk stage to me. Shaken sure, hurt sure, but a few seconds to go and a minute to take a break and then maybe call it quits if his team thinks he is done.
Going on the other round he probably thought he had two minutes left.

Exactly why this "cleaning out middleweight" idea should be junked. MW is a morgue, GGG should move up to fight better fighters.

Ugh and he says he wants 160. Time wasted.
Cotto is the only big name left at middleweight with a decent resume and I don't see him making it twelve rounds either. Maybe before the wars and I stress maybe, but not now. Quillin is there as well, but he hasn't even been in the ring with someone the level of Geale, let alone GGG. Just the fact that Quillin is ranked so high with his level of opposition says more about the mw division than any words can.
If Cotto was GGGs size it would be interesting. I'd pick GGG anyway. But Cotto started at 140, he's too small. Quillen is being hidden for a reason. The good fights are at 168. The most money is probably a Cotto fight, Canelo fight or Chavez Jr. I can understand him taking those fights, it's business. But short of getting a payday fight it's time to fight his quality of fighter. He's proven he wrecks guys that are beneath him, it's time to see who all is beneath him. Is Froch beneath him? Ward?

I think he stops Froch. A GGG/Ward fight is probably the fight I most want to see.
He's 32 and he's thinking about available paydays for what's left of his career. Cotto would be a huge PPV event. So would Alvarez. Both of those fights are infinitely easier and bigger paydays than Ward or Froch. Although definitely Ward and Froch are mouthwatering fights for us to see.

I'd like to see Floyd fight Golovkin more than anything else. Rather than Floyd fighting endless second rate Haymon clients I'd love to see those two fight each other.
I'm a big Floyd fan(the fighter not the person) and I don't think at his age he could hang with GGG. He doesn't have the legs anymore. Add in the size difference and GGG walks right over him. But that's as it should be when you consider each fighters natural size. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it but I don't think it's a great fight.

    Hahaha!

Poor Geale with a nasty cut in a super long first round, just the worst start possible. He had a rough night.
