I don't see what the problem is, I've thought about this and he's got his legacy, he was so good that it doesn't matter what he does now, people will remember him in his prime.

I mean he's fighting like once a year, against guys who are decent in their domestic scenes.

What's wrong with that? I mean, depending which source you believe, his net worth seems to be between $20 million to as high as $45 million.

So you've got to assume money is not why he is fighting because he ain't getting shit from these fights.

Let the guy enjoy his hobby.

    Agreed.

I noticed this as well after checking boxrec. Roy has been fighting once a year against guys he knows he can beat and reliving his glory days in places that are very happy to have him perform.

He's 45 or so now. He's not getting hurt. Let him have his fun at this point.

Oh, it's definitely money. He owes the IRS millions.

Who could have possibly guessed that when he got starched twice in a row back in 2004 and everyone was calling for him to retire that he'd fight on for another 10 YEARS AND COUNTING. It's pretty sad and you have to wonder how much additional brain damage he sustained in those extra 10 years of fighting and sparring.

As a Roy Jones fan, I wish he would have seen the writing on the wall and hung up his gloves after the first Tarver fight. Even back then, he was talking about retirement. He wanted to set up a mega fight with Mike Tyson and then retire. That was 11 years ago. We've seen a lot of greats fight on past their primes, but 11 years is ridiculous.

Even though Roy is fighting non-world class competition, I think most people worry that his punch resistance is so bad that one of these guys can catch him solid and cause serious damage. That is what I worry about. Remember him vs. Ledvedev? Roy was doing ok n became exhausted late and suffered a horrific knockout. I would like to see him quit n stay healthy.

Just because you owe money doesn't make you broke, reliable sources say he's worth $45 million.

That's a huge leap to just guess or make up.

Like I said because you owe money doesn't mean you're broke, I owe my brother £10, which I have, I just haven't given him it yet!

I hear you! Roy seems to be OK, Holyfield is questionable, but I'm sure Toney does not have the good sense to stop now.
Not much you can do about it when they have, a license and a physical allowing them to fight in their hand.
I refuse to watch, on YouTube or anywhere else!
