Hillarious. Your second statement makes the first one oh so very believable.

Johnsons style is made for Calzaghe much like Lacy's was, Calzaghe would pick him off from distance then finish him late on. IMO Johnson was robbed last night though, he was a lot more active and landed the better shots. Woods was in serious trouble in 9 and i think 1 more good shot from Johnson and it would of been lights out.

I hope Woods now fights Roy Jones jr and gets knocked out again. Jones is my alltime favourite fighter and id love him to become champ once again!!!!!

For me Calzaghe has to fight either Taylor or Wright. They are probably the only 2 fighters left that Calzaghe would not be expected to beat. Woods would only be a big draw domestically and i dont think fans in the Uk rate him that highly anyway. Anyone agree?

I think it will be Woods, firstly Warren has offered him £400,000, which for a man like Woods is to bigger payday to turn down at 34 years old, secondly Warren is more or less incapable of making big fights, the only reason Tsyzu fight was made was the two factors, 1. Hatton was prepared to take much less than Tsyzu, 2.The Hatton factor Sky PPV.

Calzaghe cant attract the sort of money Hatton does on PPV, and the guy wont play second fiddle to to the likes of Wright and Taylor, in financial terms, i just cant see Calzaghe fight any huge P4P fighters, what will change hes 34 years of age?? he has been a world champion for 9 years? Warren has a piss poor record of getting big fights, look at Scott Harrison another of his World Champs who the fuck has he fought? I hate to admit it but i think Calzaghe will not fight any of the big boys, ffs Warren was billing Calzaghe v Johnson as a megafight? The guy is a 37 year old at the end of his career? Warren is a business man who has been making milions from Boxing without actully having to many meaningful fights over the years, look at Kahn he is top bill on terrestiol tv in the Uk, and he is fighting 6 rounders agaisnt part time mechanics?? But Frank is has probably made millions from the Kahn buzz where in reality, he shouldnt.

CC totally agree with your Warren opinion. The guys a joke, last year he said something like " Theres no way in hell Howard Eastman will ever get a fight with Bernard Hopkins" Who did Eastman fight next? Yes hopkins. Warrens a Moron.

Exactly mate look at are World Class operators who are not with Frank Warren, Clinton Woods has fought Glen Johnson three times and RJJ, Howard Eastman has fought Bernard Hopkins, Adrian Stone fought Shane Mosley, now look at Franks fighters who imo, are better than the above three Harrison Calzaghe and Hatton?? Hatton fought Tyzsu for the reasons i stated above, but the other two who have they fought? Lacey? But Lacey was not a megastar his biggest payday was like $150,000 prior to the Calzaghe fight, i think think that says it all, Frank Warren is a joke.

Eubank was YOUNGER than joe was when joe beat lacy, and lacy was older than joe was when joe fought eubank

    eubank was like what? 31?

Just think u don't like calzaghe - wasn't his fault hopkins pulled out or jones always priced him self out

wuda been hopkins biggest pay day to the point and for the next few yrs by far, jones jr always bitched about how he never got the big bucks, how the golden boy got more, well he had the chance to fight the best SMW, a chance ot beat the best boxer outside they Hw in europe - had the chance to really make his name well known to the europeans but he priced him self out

shud be questioning them 2 imo

I don't have it , but I seen it and it wasn't even a fight. More like a pathetic sparring session. Jones beat him into a pulp and they had to stop it before Woods got killed. He showed heart but not much else in that bout. Anyway I didn't get to see the fight as it wasn't shown over here in the U.S.A., sounds like Johnson fought his heart out and got screwed in a close fight, still say RJJ or Johnson would beat Calzaghe, even though he is GOD to all the Brits on here.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

a good fighter but much like Floyd Mayweather Jr. he has never applied himself vs anyone that's good

You may not think he is as good as others do, but there is no way that guy is a 'bum'
I agree he is no bum...I respect JC I think the point Lyle is trying to eloquently make that he is good but never shows his true potential why I don't know? Is it his promoter? is it contentment? on Joe's part...I mean how do you follow up a virtuoso performance against Lacy, Fighting this ham and egger C'mon even the most staunch Calzaghe supporter has to be somewhat frustrated....Were is Joe's urgency he is getting older, his hands are getting more brittle, why risk damaging your hands against a subpar opponent...

I mean know one on God's green earth should question Floyd Mayweather's choice of opponents with out looking at Joe's....I like Joe allot I just wish he would take it to the bona fide elite level
EXACTLY...he's a good fighter but conducts himself as a BUM by fighting such "fierce contenders" as Saiko Bika

Why not go after the other top guys? Not dissing Bika but I've never heard of him or seen him fight but what about beating the shit out of Allan Green?

Green is young he's wild he runs out of gas, he hits hard, and he's crowd pleasing.

MIKKEL KESSLER...beat that dude up Joe...don't fight Woods! If you are going to fight a Brit fight Froch!
