What, did I make the rules? I'm a white Canadian guy living in a place with very little ethnic diversity outside of white European lineage. I have no connection to slavery, not even distantly.

I'm just calling it like I see it. Half black guys claim black and are regarded as black, at least in the mainstream media. Who can even argue that?

I tend to agree with Beanflicker. You pretty much are what society sees you as...or what you get judged as. My mother's Keetoowah (Injun) and my fathers White. I look 0% Native. Most people wouldn't know it unless I told them. I could be at a Klan rally nobody would look at me twice
