Why wouldn't this come out right when he pulled out? Why wouldn't they just say he pulled out for personal reasons rather than being so secretive? Maybe they did say something but I didn't hear it.

Its not the sort of thing you go out and tell your family and friends about imediately let alone put in the media! Peter may not have known himself until after the fight was cancelled.

Its not nice. After 5 months there is a real baby in there and an obvious real strong attatchment. Tyson and Paris had this happen in the last week and they must have been devastated!

Not only does he have to try and put losing his child to the back of his mind which he was prepared to do, he then had to deal with his uncle getting a blood clot and falling in to a coma.

i feel that whenever you respond to my posts you make accusations that arent true. i have never ever defended haye. he is ridiculous. i dont like him at all. so why bring up that point?

anyways, there have been athletes throughout history that have pulled out of athletic competitions because of personal matters. that isnt the problem. the problem is that when you pull out, somebody will ask you, "what should i tell the public?" then just say, "personal reasons" if you dont want to discuss it at the moment. i mean seriously, nobody said anything when his uncle was sick? there was no vague statement made? thats why it seems fishy. letting somebody know that you are pulling out of the fight for personal reasons takes 5 seconds to do. i know that its hard but you are still a professional athlete and its your responsibility. i cant just not show up for work and then after a week show up again and just say my uncle was sick so thats why i missed. i have to call beforehand to let them know. its hard but thats the way it has to be done.

Im generalising that it seems its not acceptable for Tyson to pull out for the first time even though his uncle is in a coma on life support and his wife just lost their child but on the other hand there are people who are weighing up the action that David Haye will bring to the scene when he comes back even though hes ripped his fans off 3 times in a single year!

He was supposed to fight 3 times last year. How much action did he bring? None! The only action in their build up was from Fury. He also pulled out against Vitali a few years ago.
