In the summer of 1988, Donald Curry had once again managed to get back on track after his debilitating knockout loss to WBA junior middleweight king, Mike McCallum. This time, it was against the rough and rugged (if not brazen) WBC junior middleweight titlist, Gianfranco Rosi.

Curry no longer looks like the Curry of '83-'86, but still has enough to remain a threat, with hints of his past greatness shining through at points in the bout.
