He is all a man can be... his existence will echo into many generations. Doesn't get any better than this

Love him or hate Ali , I remember watching him on the TV in the 60's with my Dad, hell
never seen anything like it, the speed and skills he was mesmerising, float like a butterfly
sting like a bee, that guy made me a boxing fan.

Love him or hate him, as Dia put it...... there's no arguing that Ali was huge for boxing. That's not saying he was the best ever. But he did more for the sport than any other fighter in history.

I'm sure Bill Paxtom will be in here at any moment to chime in with his agreement.

    Cassius Clay

Came along at the right time, when Boxing needed some injection of life.

I appreciated his entertainment skills, despite stealing his act from 'Gorgeous George'.

I love watching Ali's classic fights. He was a great fighter. When young he dazzled and when older he adapted. Ali had a great boxing brain along with great tools. My only criticism is how he is held on a pedestal by the media when morally he wasn't all that. The media is quick to point out Tyson's flaws at any moment, but with Ali it all seems to be airbrushed.

Totally agree. As a fighter the man was amazing, as a human being he was very flawed just like the rest of us, but it's been sanitized and airbrushed. As flawed as someone like Tyson was, I don't think he ever stoop to the sad level that Ali did to Frazier as a man. You know what they say, "With friends like these, who needs enemies?"

Gorgeous George probably stole it from Jack Johnson, he never invented it.

The end product or Ali's wonderful influence on boxing....Adrien Broner! Hell, I wouldn't have wanted to miss that for anything, sir!

LMAO! So now Broner is Ali's fault.
    Now I've heard everything........

But wait a minute....... doesn't Broner model himself after TBE?

Keep those blinders on and see it anyway you want, sir! Think about it before you dismiss it though, if you can. 😳

You are better than that mate, that was stretching it to blame Ali for that. Even Bill was embarrassed for you.

I doubt Bill pays much attention to what I say.
