That's nice, I think those two scorecards sound about right. It wasn't a great performance by BRook but really almost all of the good work was his, Porter never sustained anything. It was a lot like watching a better version of the co main really

I agree. The right guy won, the judging was 66%, the ultra aggressive rough 'em up style failed, and Hayman took a swift kick to the fanny. I'm a happy guy.

brook should look for a khan fight, i think losing to thurman hurts him way more than losing to khan, and i would imagine a khan fight makes him more money

Brook called everybody out, good for him. I think he should go for the money first.
We didn't see the best Brook tonight in my opinion, Porter made this a dog fight and Brook had to fight like a dog to win.
I haven't seen Brook before, but everyone is saying he's a good boxer, so I want to see him in with another good boxer. That's when we'll see the best Brook.

Brook won, styles make fights and they did not gel , it happens sometimes we expect a cracking
fight and it turns out to be a crap fight,! but Brook won and to him that's all that counts, Porter
tried to rough him up but failed with his tactics, no were near a classic fight, but the right guy

I had Brook winning before the fight, right after the fight and will be winning more with huge paydays in his future and a few more titles.

Brook won last night. Porter tried to frustrate him with rough-house tactics that didn't work- Brook just let him hold, and stepped back and delivered a jab and a left hook on the back foot on the way out.

Porter had no response for the after-clench combinations that Brook hit him with after Porter tried to rough him up, and had to let go.

Brook had him to a tee.

He's in DEEP.

Kell Brook is one them fighters, that just looks good on paper because he's 32-0.

In fact I'll be surprised if Brook makes a fight out of this, for I see a very one sided humiliation for him. That's just how I see it.

I hear what you are saying, it was an ugly fight. I really don't see what Brook could have done differently. With Porter trying to steamroll him, he had to do whatever it took to survive. As it turned out Brook was better at surviving than Porter was at steamrolling. Brook stayed calm, cool, and collected whereas Porter became frustrated and could not change his game plan to fit the circumstances.

Porter fought a horrible fight and had no backup plan to not being able to steam roll Brook. The Bika fight was just awful. Bika was just an awful champion who never beat a champion. He deserved a few title shots but never deserved a world title. Cant see him doing anything in the future. Figueroa fight was fun but cant see Figueroa going to far at 140, Hes too easy to hit and stronger fighters should be able to keep him off them and hurt him.

Brook definitely won the fight. I had it 116-112. I think the scorecards were fine. The draw was a bit generous but not terrible. I'm just not sure why porter didn't use his jab at all. If he would have used a jab to get inside he would have been much more effective.
